Our product support specialist acts as a liaison between different departments in a company and their customers. In this role, they work to inform both current and prospective customers about the products that our company offers. Typically, they specialize in a specific area, such as technical support or software, working to ensure everything functions as intended or addressing user issues that do arise. In some positions, they may also play a sales role. Our job duties as a product support specialist may include creating instruction manuals, answering phones in a call centre, offering technical support for products, identifying the cause of bugs or problems, installing hardware and other equipment, and collaborating with various departments to create promotional activities. We travel to a customer’s house for installations, but we conduct most troubleshooting support over the phone.
